Meet Susan Meyers Founder & Lead Designer – A Pocket Full of Posies Susan Meyers has been a passionate floral designer since 1981. She began her journey as a young mother of two, working part-time at the European Flower Markets in Superior. In 1989, when the market was acquired by Engwall Florist of Duluth/Superior, Susan continued to grow—receiving hands-on training from seasoned designers with a variety of stylistic backgrounds. Her professional development also includes design training under the renowned Ardith Beveridge at the Koehler & Dramm Institute of Floristry. Over the years, Susan has brought her artistry to numerous flower shops across the Twin Cities—and even two charming floral boutiques on the island of Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Adding to her creative depth, Susan holds a PhD in Creativity and Leadership from the University of the Virgin Islands. Her unique blend of artistic vision and thoughtful leadership continues to shape the heart of A Pocket Full of Posies.
